My story
Hey! This is a little bit about me.

I'm Lorraine Lin, a current junior high school student born and raised in Paris for the vast majority of my life.
​
However, since 2021 I study abroad in the UK at a boarding school and I'm currently completing my International Baccalaureate (IB). (I love it, so much fun!)
​
Also, I'm Chinese (in case you wonder with the picture)
I got accepted to do research with the Cambridge Centre for International Research (CCIR) with Dr Tom McClelland on Psychology, cognitive science and philosophy.
​
CCIR is a research program that connects leading researchers and scholars to enable students to pursue research in their fields of interest.
​
Currently, finishing the research paper entitled "Individual vs Social Explanations of War: A Philosophical Investigation"

I participated in the Amplify Summer programme 2022 which is a 3-week finance course and it has been one of the best experiences I ever had! (I found it really hard, but I would not hesitate to do it again! You really learn a lot coming out of the programme)
